AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL INSURANCE

It is a requirement of the Australian Government that international students register for Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) before coming to Australia. Your institution will organise this for you and it is normally paid for when you make your first payment to your school or university. OSHC rates are approximately US$160 for a single premium for 12 months.
