Group Colleges Australia (GCA) is an educational consortium comprising of four educational institutions:

1. UIC Sydney is a registered and accredited Higher Education Institution delivering a Bachelor of   Accounting course and a Bachelor of Business Course. UIC Sydney also offers Diploma and Associate Degree level certifications, in case you have to pause on the journey to the ultimate goal of a Bachelor Degree.

2. Central College is a registered and accredited vocational education institution delivering courses from Certificate II up to Advanced Diploma level in the disciples of Accounting, Business, IT, Multimedia and Tourism. Approved Central College graduates can also transition to UIC Sydney, and complete
their Bachelor Degree in reduced time.

3. Metro English College is a NEAS accredited institution delivering General English and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).

GCA is an organisation that provides support services to educational institutions and associated industries, using 'State Of The Art' technology combined with the highest level of professionalism and operational standards. Support services include governance, financial management, compliance, marketing and automated administration services by the use of the ISIS online automated administration system.

Location

Central College, Metro English College and UIC Sydney are all located at the GCA Towers, in the heart of Sydney. The Towers are at the centre of Sydney's education precinct, in close proximity to Sydney University, Sydney TAFE, and walking distance to UTS. Being only two minutes from Sydney’s Central train station means that students can easily explore the city’s highlights, world class fashion outlets, many restaurants and the fantastic nightlife. Vibrant areas such as Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Surry Hills are on GCA’s doorstep thus allowing students to constantly enjoy living in a world class city.

Campus Facilities

UIC Sydney, Central College and Metro English College pride themselves on providing the best possible facilities for its students. Some of the facilities offered are as follows:

Interactive SmartBoard Technology

All of the classrooms in this College are equipped with the smartboard technology that makes learning easier. These interactive whiteboards are connected to a computer and a projector. The teacher has the benefit of projecting any digital files, including PowerPoint presentations, digital videos or websites onto the Smartboard.The internet can be accessed as a resource in class and lecturers can save their notes for students to access later, from home.

Computer laboratories

There are eight computer labs with over 242 computers all of which are fully equipped with the state-of-art computer hardware and software. Students, in their free time, can access this lab for study purposes, email and internet research.

Free WIFI

The GCA Towers are equipped with a free wireless network which is available in classrooms, the student recreation area and lunchroom. Students are encouraged to bring their laptop into the College to make use of this service.

Free 'MYGCA' Online Administration

MyGCA is an online administration system that allows students to access details via the internet 24x7, worldwide. Students have access to information, such as enrolment details, timetables and student study support.

Classrooms and Lecture Halls

The GCA Towers has spacious, light-filled air-conditioned lecture and tutorial rooms comprising of comfortable chairs and windows which show off Sydney’s scenic skyline.
