Pathways
RMIT is able to provide
students with educational pathways towards further
qualifications. Students can commence studies at TAFE;
obtain credit for work completed, before moving on to
higher education.
Research capability
RMIT University recently established four new Research Institutes that represent areas of research excellence and scale. These institutes are as follows: RMIT Design Research Institute, RMIT Global Cities Research Institute, RMIT Sustainable Health and Well-Being Research Institute, and RMIT Platform Technologies Research Institute. The university also has five dedicated research centres and is a participant in nine Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs).
